Ok so growing up in, what was then, a "white" suburban town I listened to a lot of "white" music as my cousins would call it. My favorite bands were the Backstreet Boys and N'sync. I was pretty .... obsessed with them. I had most of the CDs and I knew the words to all the songs. I even crushed on 1 of the boys in each group (Nick Carter and Justin Timberlake). If you were to ask me to pick a favorite song I would probably say .... ALL!!! And i just found out about the NKOTBSB concert that's coming to Boston and I really want to go. Scratch that I NEED to go. What can be better than New Kids on The Block and Backstreet Boys on the same stage? So if there is someone really nice out there and would like to buy the tickets for me, by all means go right ahead :)

What am I thankful for (kinda late)
Well as you all know, Thanksgiving was last week. Yes which means I've been slacking on my blog posts, my apologies.
To be completely honest with you, I am thankful for Scooby Doo. I absolutely loved the show as a kid. I would spend hour in front of the TV even if a rerun was playing. I knew the words to the theme song and I think I even had some Scooby Doo toys.
But that isn't the the only reason why I'm thankful for this amazing show. When Scooby Doo was on i was like mother daughter time. It had only been my older sister and I at the time so I didn't have anyone besides some of my friends to play with. So my mother and I would sit and watch each episode and attempt to predict what was going to happen. We had fun, just the two of us, and everything seemed worry free for the time being.
And theses are the reasons I'm thankful for Scooby Dooby Dooooo !!!!!! :)

SOOO ANNOYING!!
I have to admit not everything about the 90's was great. There were a few things that seem really dumb when you look back at them.
One of those things just so happens to The Thong Song by Sisqo. The song came out around the time I was in kindergarden and at the time it seemed cooled. I knew most of the words and my older sister had the CD.
But now when I listen to I get really annoyed. For one, the lyrics are soo stupid; it's just crazy. And the fact that it gets stuck in your head all day long is another bad thing. I just don't see what inspired Sisqo to write that song. He does have some good music but that song just bugs me.

It's an Adventure
One of my fondest childhood memories was sitting in front of the T.V. watching great cartoons. The cartoons that play now are such a down grade, it's really sad.
Tommy Pickles. Does that name ring a bell? That's right, I'm talking about the Rugrats! that was one of my all time favorites. But I always wondered where were the parent's when the kids went on all these adventures. I mean someone should have call child services. LOL And another thing, why did Tommy always have whet they needed in his diper? Did he ever get a diper rash? Just curious.
